44th General Assembly of the World Trade Centres Association. Mumbai, India, © International Labour Office, April 21-24, 2013. The 44th General Assembly of the Association of World Trade Centers is held in Mumbai (India). In 2012, Moscow hosted the 43rd General Assembly of the Association of World Trade Centers, for the first time in the history of Russian WTCs. The AWTC General Assembly is the main annual event of the Association where representatives of the leading international WTCs participate. Being a global economic forum, General Assembly promotes development of international trade, establishment of business cooperation between the representatives of various regions and stimulates investment.,,GA participants discuss the most relevant issues of business development, review new partnerships and access to new markets. Traditionally, the AWTC Board of Directors discusses at the GA the matters of further development of the Association in general and of separate World Trade Centers in particular, as well as presents strategic solutions for enhancement of cooperation between the Association members from various countries.
